Coinciding with the national conventions and the lead-in to the November presidential elections, Ubisoft has shipped The Political Machine to stores nationwide. The PC political strategy game was developed by Stardock Entertainment. It is rated "T" for Teen and will retail for $19.99.

Players in The Political Machine are cast as campaign managers for an American presidential candidate. They can create their own or choose from any number of current and past politicians. The 41-week campaigns are spent appearing on television talk shows, fundraising, taking polls based on real US Census data, and doing everything possible to secure electoral votes. The game also features online play at the official Web site.
