The next episode of The Walking Dead: Season 2 is "just around the corner"

Just around the corner? Sounds a bit ominous, considering the game takes place in a world riddled with zombies...

The second episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two is "just around the corner," according to a Twitter tease from developer Telltale Games.

Telltale attached a picture to their tweet, showing season two's young protagonist Clementine splattered in blood and looking particularly grizzled. An accompanying quote points out that she's "still. not. bitten."

The first episode of the five-part series, "All That Remains," was released on December 17 for Steam, and a day later on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

One of Telltale's other projects, The Wolf Among Us, will also see the release of its second episode this week. The studio is also working on a Borderlands adventure game, alongside an adaptation of HBO's immensely popular Game of Thrones series.

I enjoyed All That Remains, but it left me feeling unable to disagree with those who doubted the decision to have Clementine as the main character for the second season. I'm praying that the second episode features less excessively violent sequences involving Clementine and more emphasis on character interaction. And perhaps more closure on the binary choices that were made in the first season.

Hopefully the next episode will be better.

As tempting as it is to pay out; I'm going to wait for ALL the episodes to come out in one solid value pack on Steam. The Walking Dead Season 1 was amazing and I'm hoping that collectively Season 2 will be even better.

@mvlbr  Yeah, if the previous one was as bad as they say.  Still boggled why they would choose Clementine as a main character though.

@FTB_Screamer  I read somewhere that the newest date is supposed to be the 4th, but who knows if that's still the plan.

@Jacanuk That's why I wait for these episodic games to release all parts before playing them, but of course that didn't work with Half-Life 2 :P.

@robertcain They have offered the entire season on Steam since before episode one came out in one package for $24.99 (as in, less than half the price of a typical game).  If that's not a value pack I don't know what is.
