The Last Remnant Character Profiles

Square Enix's upcoming role-playing game, The Last Remnant, is designed with both Japanese and Western audiences in mind. This new franchise introduces a new battle mechanic as well as a cast of new characters we'd like to introduce you to. We will start off by introducing three of the main characters in the story: Rush Sykes, Irina Sykes, and David Nassau.

Rush Sykes, the main protagonist, is an 18-year-old Mitra (human in appearance) who lives on Eulam Island with his sister, Irina. Rush is a caring individual with a rare innocence who puts family before anything else. He's a young swordsman with a tender heart, so when his sister is kidnapped by a mysterious organization, he immediately sets off to find her.

Irina Sykes lives on the isolated island of Eulam with her older brother, Rush. She is a strong teenager who is able to stay positive and upbeat even during hard times. There is a mysterious power that lies within her, but for now, she has no idea what it is or what it can do.

David Nassau rules over the state of Athlum at the tender age of 19. A calm and collected individual, David works tirelessly to ensure that Athlum becomes a better place, and he hopes to gain independence from the nation of Celapaleis. Although he is a marquis, he still fights on the battlefield alongside the Remnant Gae Bolg. When he meets Rush, he decides to help him on a journey, even though his original intentions were selfish.
