Never had the time to play this on PS3… so this is cool coming to PS4.  But not for $60.  Waiting for it to hit that $40 range a month or so after it releases.

Remastered games after one year of initial release , WOW and the trailer doesn't show the remaster difference. Better wait for Uncharted 4. I guess one can only buy if he haven't played on ps3

Awesome, I get to watch the human A.I. randomly sprint into a group of zombies and aggro them to me IN HD!

I don't have problems supporting Naughty Dog... The game was great.. Aside from the human AI, I had nothing to complain about. One of the longest single player campaigns I've ever played.

I have no problem dropping $60 on it again. I like Naughty Dog, if I support them, they will keep bringing me glorious games like this:)

tlou has given the blueprint for success in the current gaming industry climate:

mediocre gameplay in a neat package and an emphasis on a basic, good story.

tlou signals in the rise of the acceptance of subpar games.

fluff rules the day.

Sweet, hopefully I can get it for PS3 on sale pretty cheap now.

During the first half of the video when they show all the comments from the major game networks praising The Last of Us I was wondering why gamespot wasn't mentioned, lol then I remembered that there were eight reasons why gamespot wasn't mentioned.

I wouldn't mind this if I was able to use my PS3 last of us and pay a measly $10. While I would love to replay the game in 60fps, 1080p but for $60, I would rather continue playing Mercenary Kings (Favorite game on the PS4, even more so then Infamous and Killzone and it was a freebie on PS+)

I'll look forward to reading the reviews.

this is game...this game like one year old...i dont think a lot of people are going to rebuy/replay just for a resolution increase. way too soon...and not enough improvement.

I will absolutely buy this if i can get some sort of discount for buying the Ps3 version. If not, ill just wait till it drops in price. The longer that takes, the fresher it will be when i do pick it up.

Pattern.

Nintendo Fanboys - Ostrich effect "Umm Nintendo is King no matter when they aren't!"

Sony Fanboys - Anger problems "Enjoy my exclusives! ...or else."

Microsoft Fanboys- Laisez-Faire "Take my money, do whatever, I'm easy for the 'Bone."

PC Fanboys - "Play with my mouse, bitch. Controllers are for girlfriends."

This coming from a married man with a PC and Wii U. I even play the PC with a controller...shhhh!

Yes $60 is alot to pay for, i was thinking more like $50.  It is even harder for me to swallow since i already finished the game already.  I'm going to wait until its on sale or pick it up during xmas.

would have been so cool on the PC but Sony keeps a lot of exclusives like this one locked on the Playstaion :( Shame really.

Only game that is still worth paying $60 IMO would be Smash Bros.

It's unbelievable how man petty little pricks are in the comments. All I've heard about for the past four months from ps4 owners is how cool it would be if they re-released an upgraded version of TLOU for the ps4. Sony listened to its consumers, and people that are jealous, or just plain bored of their own platform, invade these comment sections and call it a cash grab. I already have this on ps3 and have no intentions on buying it again, but I'm glad that those that haven't experienced it can have their chance. Also bitching about a $60 price point, really? It may be a year old on ps3, but throwing in dlc and upgraded graphics seems perfectly reasonable to charge full price as far as I'm concerned, if that doesn't suit you, then wait for a price drop. In short, if you don't want it, then don't f^#king buy it, it's just that easy.

MIND YOU....They said the PS4 couldn't even run this game or other PS3 games due to PS3s hardware and such...so...I have an extremely hard time believing they are developing this PS4 version from the ground up, cause if they were, we wouldn't be seeing this until atleast 2015, early 2016.

notfrylock1987
notfrylock1987

Damn, and here I thought that if I brought a PS4, I would be getting brand new games, instead of "HD/Remasted" ports of games that don't really have a significant leap in graphics at all.

if i wanted to play the Last of Us again, I would love to throw my PS3 versions disc in my PS4 but....sadly...Sony and Microsoft are greedy. Why give B.C for atleast last gen games, when they can just resell them with a new coat of paint for $60?

monson21502
monson21502

wow i must be seeing things. i remember not too long ago that when the last of us just came out and every sony lover was bragging about this game being the best game they ever played. now almost all of them didnt play it the first time and some are now buying a ps4 just for this game or its a day 1 buy for them?

runningman5ksmak

nice I might buy this game on PS4 but not spending $60 on it. But when it releases I bet it will drop in price fast on amazon.ca games  drop in price in 3 to 4 weeks tops

Now if this was going to be released for the PC, I would be excited.  I'm getting tired of these platform exclusives.

@ohjtbehaaave  If you wait even longer I suspect this may be a free PSN+ title a few years down the line.

Edit: I'm going to buy it near launch to enjoy the multiplayer and trophy hunt.

That doesn't happen. The enemy ai doesn't react to glitchy alleys. It is very annoying none the less, but one of the few flaws in its performance.

@udubdawgz1 Mediocre gameplay my backside.

TLOU is anything but a sub-par game.

@notfrylock1987

I think they are talking about emulation which is different

Last of us on PS4 is running natively on the hardware without any kind of software emulation.

canuckbiker

It's called porting genius. You know the same way we recieved the same games for ps3, xbox 360, and PC, despite some large differences in hardware.

anarky23

@notfrylock1987  The architecture of the Ps4 won't allow it to play Ps3. Plus no one's holding up a gun to your head and forcing you to get the game.

FusionRain
FusionRain

@notfrylock1987  Don't but it then. We still have games like Watch Dogs, The Crew, Destiny, Dragon Age, The Division, The Order, and lots of indie games on the way. So what you mad about? Surely you bought a PS4 knowing these games were coming out. Other wise it's your fault if you don't like what's being released this year.

canuckbiker
canuckbiker

Gee, I guess ps3 owners must be made up of individual people and not some giant unified being, crazy right?

canuckbiker

Not at all. Just baffled at why everyone else is mad about this.

@ninboxstation @EliOli Actually, you hit on the whole reason I don't like platform exclusives.  These companies try to manipulate you into buying their hardware buy making these deals for platform exclusives.  I happen to prefer my PC because that's what I feel most comfortable with.  I'm not going to go out and buy a new system just for a few games.  It's not cost effective.

ninboxstation

@EliOli

they can "manipulate" me all they want, if they deliver the best games...
