The Girls of TGS

TOKYO - Without fans in costume, it just wouldn't be the Tokyo Game Show. Here are some of the costumes we saw.

TOKYO - At shows like TGS (and in most case, other Japanese fan-filled conventions like anime cons, etc.), die-hard fans often dress-up like their favorite characters. This year's show was no exception, although the number of people dressed up seemed to be less on the third day. Of course, the costume players (or cosplay, as it's referred to) were only half the story.

Each of the companies fill their booths with booth girls, hoping to attract drooling fans (mostly males of course) so that they can be given pamphlets with the company's latest games on it. Of course this idea works almost 100 percent of the time, and lures us in to take snapshots.

So without further ado, on the following pages you'll find some of the girls and women that we saw at the show. Some are fans dressed up in homemade costumes while others are booth workers. Judge for yourself!
