The First Trailer For American Horror Story: Double Feature Has Arrived

American Horror Story: Double Feature Part 1, Red Tide, is headed to FX.

American Horror Story is known for a lot of things, but having concise titles isn't one of them. Season 10 of Ryan Murphy's horror anthology TV show, American Horror Story: Double Feature, is headed to FX later this year, but it'll be broken up into parts this time around, which makes the full title name American Horror Story: Double Feature, Part 1: Red Tide. For those playing along at home, Part 2 is called Death Valley.

You can watch the first ever trailer for Red Tide now. Take a look.

Season 10 is going to be dealing with both aliens and vampires--or, maybe shark monsters? It's not exactly clear yet what is going on here, and the trailer doesn't do much to clear it up, but we can spot some of our AHS favorites returning for their new roles, like Evan Peters who can be seen short-haired and scowling.

Apparently Red Tide will focus on a writer in a beachside town uncovering the truth of his monstrous, possibly cannibalistic, neighbors--but how this will relate to Death Valley and aliens still remains to be seen. Knowing AHS as a franchise, it's probably best not to even start guessing, but whatever it ends up being is sure to be wild.

American Horror Story: Double Feature Part 1: Red Tide will debut on FX on August 25, and will stream the following day on FX on Hulu.
