There will be three paid expansions included with The Division's DLC pass: Underground, Survival, and Last Stand. Ubisoft provided some high-level details for the first two (see below), but unfortunately didn't get into specifics for any of them.

These expansions will launch "over the course of the year," though Ubisoft did not provide any release windows.

Expansion 1: Underground

  • This first major expansion opens up a new area to players as they explore the uncharted underworld of New York City with up to four friends for intense co-op action

Expansion 2: Survival

  • In this expansion, players will have to survive as long as possible in a very hostile environment that will challenge even the most talented agents.

Expansion 3: Last Stand

  • No details yet

Everyone who buys The Division's DLC pass will also get a sawed-off shotgun and a set of outfits and weapons skins. Additionally, DLC pass owners get access to "special monthly benefits including exclusive content drops and special events," though no further details were announced.

Pricing for The Division's DLC pass was not divulged. We have followed up with Ubisoft in an attempt to get more details.

As for The Division's free updates, these will include new game modes. The only one announced so far is an untitled co-op mode in which groups of players work together to win "unique rewards."

Earlier this month, Ubisoft confirmed that The Division's map will not include Brooklyn for launch, though it's possible the borough could be added as DLC. This has not been confirmed, however.

The Division's closed multiplayer beta started today on Xbox One and will come to PS4 and PC tomorrow, January 29. You can get in by preordering or securing a code elsewhere.
