The Biggest Moments from Game of Thrones Season 6, Episode 2 [SPOILERS]

Bran returns this week as he ventures into his family's past, learning more about Hodor and his connection to Ned Stark. In addition, there was a whole lot of death this week, and one big moment right at the end of the episode. We're taking a look at the biggest moment of the week and breaking it down, while also discussing a few of the other key parts of this week's episode.

Last week, we found out that Melisandre isn't the young woman everyone saw her as. It's all an illusion, as she is actually much older than she appears. Melisandre's story continues, but it weaves into Jon Snow's story as well. Davos and his men are guarding Jon Snow's body from other members of the Night's Watch. The Wildlings and Eddison come in and take control by showing their force. Davos asks Melisandre about bringing someone back from the dead. She says she's seen it, but it's obviously not something she's tried to do. She puts together a spell, and it seems like it failed. As everyone leaves the room where the ritual took place, Jon Snow opens his eyes.

This is what everyone was waiting for. The fan-favorite character is once again alive but at what cost? Melisandre mentioned earlier on that the person she saw come back from the dead was different. Could that mean that this new Jon Snow won't be the same? Will he be the shell of the person he once was? In addition, when Melisandre finds out about this, will she regain her confidence? She was dangerous in seasons past, when she was giving birth to killer shadows. There's a lot of questions that need some answers.

Other notable moments:

• Bran returns and meets the Three-Eyed Raven, while revealing the Stark's family history, including Hodor's connection to Ned Stark. At one point, Hodor could talk.
• Arya continues to be tested. Jaqen shows up and offers her many different things, including her eyesight back, if she tells him her name. Arya says "the girl has no name." She passes this test and gets to go back to The House of Black and White.
• Tyrion unshackles the dragons in Meereen. They're still underneath the palace but no longer in chains. They have not been eating since Daenerys left the city. Meereen is going through changes again and the slavers are starting to retake the city.
• Balon Greyjoy, of the Iron Islands, is killed by his own brother, who has been missing and apparently gone mad. Yara Greyjoy thinks she's next in line to rule the Iron Islands, but that may not be the case.
• Ramsey Bolton is still a monster. He wants to chase Sansa Stark to Castle Black and fight the Night's Watch. His father doesn't agree, so Ramsey kills him. Ramsey also feeds his newborn baby brother and his mother to his dogs so he can rule over Winterfell. It looks like he's going to get his way and try to take Castle Black.

The season opener was a bit dull. It wasn't bad, but it really didn't hit the mark, like this week's episode did. There was a lot going on, and it stayed exciting throughout the episode. There was a whole lot of murder and betrayal here, and while fans may be more excited for Jon Snow's story, Ramsey Bolton's story really stole the show. He's a character you simply love to hate.
