TOKYO--Game publisher D3 is best known in America for games like Puzzle, Dead Head Fred, and the bug-killing action shooter Earth Defense Force. Its presence in Japan is quite a bit more prominent, however, as evidenced by the good-sized booth on the floor of the 2007 Tokyo Game Show.

The Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii played a big part in the show offering for D3. In addition to a host of games form the Simple Collection of budget titles for both platforms, D3 was showing off titles like Bangai-O Spirit (DS) and Dear My Sun (PlayStation 2). On the sports front, the publisher had two fighting games on hand--K-1 World Grand Prix (DS) and Victorious Boxers Portable: The Fighting, a PlayStation Portable version of the popular boxing series.

In addition, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords was on hand for both the PSP and DS, as well as the company's grim and gritty Dark Sector, an action game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
