Testers needed for Neverwinter Nights guild system

BioWare is looking for 500 beta testers to try its new Web-based player-matching features.

BioWare, the developer of the hit role-playing game Neverwinter Nights, has announced that it needs testers for the forthcoming guilds and registry section of the official Neverwinter Nights Web site. The first 500 registered owners of the game to visit the guilds and registry page will be entered into the beta program to help test this system.

The intent of the Neverwinter Nights guilds and registry system is to allow players of the epic role-playing game to hook up with others for multiplayer sessions and to find and request access to role-playing servers that they'd like to participate in. Players will also be able to join player-created guilds, create their own guilds, and have private forums and news sections that are available only to members of their guild.

Neverwinter Nights was released in June, and it features a lengthy single-player campaign and a powerful set of editing tools. For more information on the game, read our full review.
