Tengai Makyou III: Namida release date set

TOKYO--Hudson Soft announced today that it will release Tengai Makyou III: Namida for the PlayStation 2 in spring 2005 in Japan. The Tengai Makyou series is known as Far East of Eden in the United States.

While a GameCube version of Tengai Makyou III was also originally planned for release, Hudson Soft canceled its development in April due to difficulties in creating the game for two platforms.

Hudson Soft will renew the official Web site for the Tengai Makyou series on September 3; on the same day, the company will also launch a 1 million yen ($10,000) sweepstakes to promote the upcoming game. For more details on Tengai Makyou III: Namida, check GameSpot's previous coverage.
