Tekken and SoulCalibur studio Namco Bandai today announced an all-new fighting franchise called Rise of Incarnates. The game, which promises "unfettered 3D battles," launches in the second half of 2014 for PC.

Namco Bandai says Rise of Incarnates was designed by the teams behind Tekken, SoulCalibur, and Gundam Extreme. It features 2v2 gameplay, as well as a "multitude" of characters, and real-world battlegrounds.

You'll play as an "Incarnate"--a human that has mythical powers. Players have their own unique skills and powers, and the game will allow you to craft your own playstyle, Namco says. A teaser trailer for Rise of Incarnates shows some of these characters and moves in action.

You can sign up for an alpha test for Rise of Incarnates today through the game's website, though there's no word on when it will begin.
