Team SoloMid sign Santorin

Today, Team SoloMid welcome Lucas Tao 'Santorim' Kilmer Larsen as the new jungler for the 2015 Season. With his extensive trial period coming to an end, few are surprised by the acquisition, given his stay in the SoloMid house. Larsen was a rumoured pick up for a long time and was seen playing a large number of duo queue games with the other Dane in the team - mid laner Soren 'Bjergsen' Bjerg. Santorin's debut will be on 6th-7th December at IEM San Jose where Team SoloMid will face the winner of Unicorns of Love and Mexico's Lyon Gaming.

Larsen initially began his competitive conquest in Europe. Quickly climbing the solo queue ladder, he found himself playing on one of the two best Challenger teams at the time - Cloud9 Tempest. Together with Febiven, Odoamne, Hjarnan and Voidle, the Dane defeated arch nemesis Ninjas in Pyjamas on numerous occasions. After a failed attempt at an LCS qualification, he moved to the USA to be the jungler of Team Coast. With a strong playmaking ability, Larsen helped Team Coast to a dominating run in the NA Challenger Series where they won both splits, including the Summer final.
