After being removed from team Alternate after several years of support, team Berzerk are looking at rather steep costs to attending the biggest CS:GO competition that is known to take place this summer. With the event being in Sweden in just under two weeks the total costs are looking to be up to $4,000, with no organization yet in sight willing to help cover those expenses for the team.

As a result they've turned to the community to help lighten the burden en raise some of the money to help attend the event. In return the team has set several tiers of rewards back to the community, depending on the amount of money raised.

Currently those tiers are standing at €500, €1.500 and €3.000. The first tier is a team AMA after DreamHack Summer, the second one will have the team do daily blogs regarding their DreamHack Summer experience and the third and final tier holds no less than a Team Berzerk music video.

The team have opened a fundraiser page for fans and CS:GO community members to donate to, which can be found under the following link.

DreamHack Summer is set to be played from Saturday June 14th through Monday June 16th, featuring 16 of the world's greatest teams for a prize purse of over $30,000.

Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu said the following to onGamers regarding their decision to open the fundraiser:

"We know the CS:GO scene is full of people supporting the game through the valve key system, bringing the scene to a better level than any CS game before. Sadly enough we lost our supporting organization and we hope that the CS community could help us with any small amount to help us cover the costs of going to DreamHack! We will reward you all with some sexy CS games and of course some community pay-back in the forms of AMA's, Blogs and even a music video if we raise enough!"

Team Berzerk are:

  • Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu
  • Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend
  • Felix "fel1x" Zech
  • Manuel "SolEk" Zeindler
  • Alexander 'alexRr' Frisch
