TDK talks about upcoming lineup

During its quarterly conference call, TDK talked about some of the projects that it has in the works for 2003 and 2004. The company mentioned that Star Trek: Shattered Universe for the PlayStation 2 will be one of its bigger games in 2003 as will the console versions of Dinotopia, which are currently in development at Vicious Cycle--the same development team responsible for TDK's Robotech games. TDK representatives also stated that a new Robotech game is in development and that it will support online head-to-head play. While a specific release date for the Robotech game was not given, TDK representatives said that they hope to increase the awareness of the game and the license in 2004. Lastly, the company plans to put a big push behind two games based on upcoming films, The Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.
