TDK reaches agreement with Disney Interactive

TDK Mediactive has announced that it has reached an agreement with Disney Interactive to produce games based on film adaptations of two popular Disney theme park attractions, Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. The Haunted Mansion film will hit theaters sometime in 2003, and TDK plans to support the release with a game that will be developed for multiple platforms. TDK has similar plans for the Pirates of the Caribbean film. No specific details on the film or games have been released.

"As we look to 2003 and beyond to be the 'sweet spot' for our industry, the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean theatrical releases will be incredible events with which to launch the game titles on a worldwide basis."
