TDK Mediactive has today announced that it will release Shrek: Reekin' Havoc for the Game Boy Advance this summer. The action game, which is currently in development at TOSE, will see you assuming the role of either Shrek or Princess Fiona and attempting to save your fairy-tale friends from the ghost of Lord Farquaad.

The game will be largely combat-based, and although it's not yet clear what kind of moves will be featured in Shrek's arsenal, TDK has stated that the Princess Fiona character will be employing the same martial-arts moves she so capably demonstrated in the movie. You'll also be able to pick up different power-ups as you progress through the game, although specific details on these have not been revealed at this time.

We'll bring you more information on Shrek: Reekin' Havoc as soon as it becomes available.
