Gamers asking themselves "How much is that Tamagotchi in the window?" will get their answers shortly. Namco Bandai today announced that the DS game Tamagotchi Connect: Corner Shop 2 has gone gold and will be in stores on November 14.

The game, which has already sold well in Japan, features more than 100 Tamagotchi and a dozen shops for players to look after. By providing stellar customer service to townsfolk, gamers will be awarded upgrades that can be applied to their storefronts. Various items can also be traded between Corner Shop 2 owners using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2 is rated E for Everyone and will retail for $29.99. For more information, read GameSpot's previous coverage.

I had a Tomachotchi keychain when those things first came out. I took the batteries out of it after about twenty minutes because it kept asking to be fed so much...
