Swashbucklers of yore are storming this week's slate of Nintendo's downloadable content today, with a puzzle title and card game also entering the fray. Headlining the lineup is Telltale Games' Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 1: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal. Released on the PC on July 7, Wii players can now join protagonist Guybrush Threepwood, who is stranded on an island following a battle with his nemesis, the demon pirate LeChuck. The WiiWare game costs 1,000 Wii points ($10).

Based on Alexandre Dumas' classic 1844 novel, Legendo Entertainment's The Three Musketeers: One for All! is also out, allowing players to control one of the famed trio, Porthos. With puzzle-solving and Wii Remote fencing, the protagonist must save his two imprisoned comrades from Xavier and his lackey Count Orsini. Developed by Legendo Entertainment, the platform adventure game has a price tag of 900 Wii points ($9).

Card players might be interested in HB Arcade Cards, a collection of card games that includes Hearts, Rummy, Canasta, Euchre, Solitaire, and Cribbage. Participants can play using their Mii characters and partner with the computer to play Cribbage and Euchre. The game costs 500 Wii points ($5).

Rounding out this week's updates is a lone offering for DSiWare, Hudson Entertainment's Sudoku Student. In what Nintendo calls "the first Nintendo DSiWare Sudoku experience," the 200 DSi-point ($2) game focuses on the titular number-placement puzzles, which comes with a full tutorial for beginners.
