The latest in Namco's long-running Tales series of role-playing games isn't set to arrive in the US until February, but fans of the series can hit the new Tales of Legendia teaser site for an early look at the game. In addition to a brief plot synopsis, the site features background information and sketches of the main characters, a description of the game's "Crossover Linear Motion Battle System" (or X-LiMBS), and a handful of screenshots.

There's also a space on the site reserved for the game's opening movie from the animators at Production I.G. (Kill Bill: Vol. 1, Ghost in the Shell). Production I.G.'s work on the game will extend well beyond the opening cinematic, as Namco is promising that Legendia will have more cutscenes than any previous installment in the Tales series.

At the moment, Tales of Legendia is the top-selling game in Japan. For more on the title, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
