Rockstar Games announced on Friday that it has shipped Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 for the PlayStation. GTA: London 1969 is the first-ever add-on pack designed for the PlayStation system; it works in conjunction with the original Grand Theft Auto.
Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 takes the winning formula of the original and moves it into a completely new era. Set in the swinging era in London at the end of the sixties, the game features nearly fifty new missions, thirty classic cars, a dozen proper British villains, and fifteen period music tracks licensed from Trojan Records and cult chase movies of the time. Players can race around such areas as old London town, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, and Tower Bridge.
GTA: London 1969 can be purchased separately or as part of the Grand Theft Auto Directors Cut, which includes both the original Grand Theft Auto and GTA: London 1969.
