I got my brother into SSF4. He finally figured out how FADC into ultra works, and now he loves the game. I've played SSF4 since the day it came out and I can't say I'm a expert but I love the game. The Fighting Game Community is a loyal group that doesn't care about console fanboyism or fanatical views about whichever console is better. If they make a kickass fighting game they will have a small dedicated group that will follow the game for years.

Saw the Gamerbee v Xian match. He was down in the opening games then turned it around. Great Adon player.

That screen. lol. Two people were competing on what looks like a 27'' unit.

Gamerbee won, awesome!  I've watched plenty of his replays.  He was the only guy pretty much owning with Adon which I think says a lot about his skill

Wait wait wait,  "Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3" Are you sure these titles are right Capcom? *strolls through the long list of DLC* ...hmmm.
You just dramatized your titles and trolled your customers.
Way to go Capcom!

I could only assume how lame this tournament was.

I find it funny how people gave so much flak to SF4 and MVC3. I mean massive amounts of moaning was done but they have been mainstays of the FGC for like half a decade. At this rate they are gonna go as long as 3rd strike and mvc2 did hopefully we wont have to wait that long for sequels though.

I bet there is enough face grease in that building to run my car for a year.

@MERGATROYDER Smaller flat-screens have less actual lag than larger flat-screens. That's just a general guideline. Exceptions exist. These pro-gamers, especially high-speed competitions, want the least real lag possible from input to output.

@MERGATROYDER the use avarage monitors with the lest lagg, its usually streamed same time on a larger sceen for all n attendance to watch,,, most large tvs have bad input delay

@2bitSmOkEy I hope they nerf Akuma/Fei Long. Akuma himself has a lot of weapons and has few things besides his health that would be considered weaknesses.

@gunslinger20 Ah yeah, that's the magic of the fighting genre... too bad I left it after everything became to '3D' to my taste.

@angeloponekad @santinegrete  the one of the '90s that spawned so many titles in the genre passed. A new one has started for 2D? Arguably true! Look at Skullgirls, Blazblue, MK coming back to it's roots, SF4 and MvC seeing the light of the day. More quality than quantity at least.

@monster637  I kicked ass in MK 2, UMK3 and KI ... from the time had you put your initials in the arcade. Now you gave me a reason to reconsider coming back: don't want to deal with douches like you. Keep dreaming, trying, and deal with the fact that the golden age of fighting game has passed. I know I'll have to do it too.
