Taito has announced that it will release a flight sim called Energy Airforce for the PlayStation 2 in Japan. The game features several modes, including a license mode, a campaign mode, a hangar mode, and an arcade mode. The game focuses more on the concept of being a pilot than on piloting the aircraft. To illustrate this, players can use the right analog stick to look around the cockpit of the aircraft during flight. The game features the Lockheed Martin license, and it will include several aircraft, such as the F-22 Raptor, F-16 Falcon, F-117 Nighthawk, U-2 Dragon Lady, C-130 Hercules, and SR-71 Blackbird.

Energy Airforce for the PlayStation 2 will be available on September 26 for 6,800yen ($57) in Japan.
