Rockstar Games has announced that Table Tennis is now officially available for Xbox 360 at retail stores across North America for a MSRP of $39.99. The game will follow on European store shelves on May 26 for a price of 39.99 euros, or £29.99 in the UK. The title has been developed by Rockstar San Diego and features 11 playable characters, 15 international arenas, and eight-player online tournaments over Xbox Live. The game is rated E for Everyone in the US, and PEGI 3+ in the UK.
Glad to hear it's being priced effectively, rathering then following the usual trend and posting the outrageously (imo) prices near every 360 game to date is boasting...rich mans games for rich mans toys... Hope that this game plays as fluently with lots of flow as well as its graphics look, something like a smaller-scale but tighter Virtua Tennis.
Guy, you shouldn't have posted this. I assumed since this was posted from GameSpot UK I could go down to my local GAME and pick it up, but I still have to wait three days! Woe is me.
I say a rent cuz A) I'm not sold on it yet B) If I am sold on it, I have gamefly so I can keep it for a while longer.
this game sure would kick ass on the wii. but i'm not sure nintendo would allow a rockstar game on their platform these days.
Oh my heavens, eight people slapping their balls around a table! Rockstar has done it again. Call in Mrs. Clinton and shield your childrens' eyes. It's 'Hot Teabag'. [my apologies]
The $39.99 price tag may of sold me... I can also see the online tourney's being a blast...if only there was a beer pong mini game!
This game definitely looks interesting and it's a game I definitely am going to try. You can generally never go wrong wit Rockstar. I trust this will be the case with Table Tennis as well.
