Sydney Sweeney Loved Playing A Simpsons Game Growing Up, But Which One Was It?

The celebs are just like us, sometimes. In this case, Euphoria and Madame Web actress Sydney Sweeney has revealed that she grew up playing games with her brother, specifically calling out a "Simpsons game" while using her hands to simulate driving a car. The options seem to indicate either 2001's Road Rage or 2003's Hit & Run. There was a game literally called The Simpsons Game released in 2007, but it didn't focus on joyriding, so it doesn't appear to match the limited amount of information she provided.

Speaking with IGN, Sweeney doesn't elaborate on which specific Simpsons game she's talking about. The Anyone But You star is 26 years old, so The Simpsons: Hit & Run would probably line up better as the title she's talking about--though that's just speculation. GameSpot has reached out to Sweeney's representation to try to get to the bottom of this great mystery. Additionally, Sweeney namedropped the Nintendo DS as a system she used to play Mario games while chatting alongside her Madame Web castmate Isabela Merced.

The Simpsons: Hit & Run is arguably one of the most beloved video game adaptations of the long-running animated show on Fox, alongside the 1991 arcade game. GameSpot's Simpsons: Hit & Run review mentioned how it "creates the most accurate representation of the world of Springfield ever put into a game," when it released. Last year, a lead designer said he'd "love to see" a Hit & Run remake in the future. The developer was Radical Entertainment, which also made Road Rage, a studio that doesn't exist anymore.

As for Sweeney, she joked earlier this month that no one saw Madame Web on Saturday Night Live. She portrays Julia Cornwall, also known as Spider-Woman, in the Sony/Marvel movie. It's been a box-office dud, even performing poorly compared to Morbius.
