Syberia II pushed to 2004
Microids sacrifices PC release date; opts for simultaneous, multiplatform release.
Canadian publisher Microids said today that the sequel to its critically acclaimed adventure game Syberia will not make the anticipated October 2003 release date.
The company says it is delaying the PC title to allow for a simultaneous, multiplatform release that will include Xbox and PS2 versions as well.
Microids says it will use the additional time in the studio to polish and fine-tune gameplay elements in the game's PC version.
