SWAT 3: Elite Edition Ships

Sierra Studios has announced that SWAT 3: Elite Edition has shipped to retail stores. SWAT 3: Elite Edition includes the original SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle, and it adds five new missions along with a tool kit that allows players to create their own scenarios. It also brings multiplayer capabilities to SWAT 3, offering five different game types for up to six players. Sierra Studios will also release free updates on the Internet to people who already own SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle starting tomorrow, October 13. GameSpot will have these updates when they become available, along with an exclusive mission for download.
