SWAT 3: Elite Edition is Gold

Sierra Studios has announced that its upcoming multiplayer version of SWAT 3 has gone gold. In addition to the multiplayer mode, SWAT 3: Elite Edition features five new levels, a variety of additional weapons, and tools such as a level and scenario editor and a mod selector. The game also includes the entire single-player version of SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle.

The estimated retail price of SWAT 3: Elite Edition is US$44.95. Owners of the original SWAT 3 game will be able to download a free patch that includes all the Elite Edition improvements when the full retail version is released later this month.
