Supreme Ruler 2010 conquers gold

Strategy First today announced that Supreme Ruler 2010 is off for replication after a long development process. The game is the first from developer BattleGoat, and it will be available for the PC on May 10.

"It's been five years, so we're obviously thrilled to finally see the game completed. We began this journey to make a strategy game that would appeal to a wide audience and that we ourselves would want to play," says David Thompson, lead designer and partner at BattleGoat Studios. "We promised not to release Supreme Ruler 2010 before we felt the game was ready. I can honestly say it now is."

Supreme Ruler 2010 concentrates on the economic, political, and militaristic facets of building a global community between fragmented nations. The broad scope of the game gives gamers carte blanche to do whatever they wish with their region, whether it be joining the rest of the globalizing world through political action or isolating their land as an autonomous country by stockpiling weapons.
