Superman: The Man of Steel update

Infogrames has released several new screenshots from Superman: The Man of Steel, its Xbox Superman game. Naturally, players will assume the role of Superman himself as he battles Braniac's army of robots. In addition to the basic assortment of punches and kicks, players can use all of Superman's special abilities such as his ice breath, X-ray vision, heat vision, and incredible strength. All these skills will come in handy when Braniac starts attacking various parts of Metropolis and its citizens. The game will also include other well-known locations from the Superman universe, including the Phantom Zone and Warworld.

Superman: The Man of Steel is scheduled for release on the Xbox in the fall.
