You have to wait until December to play Super Mario Run on your iPhone, but mustached plumber makes his debut on the Apple phone with the launch of new iMessage stickers.

Announced during the iPhone 7 reveal event last week, the Super Mario stickers are available now with the newly released and feature-rich iOS 10 update. As you can see in the images below, the stickers let you spruce up your messages with a Mario flair. You can also add Mario's hat and mustache to your face to surprise your friends with a selfie, if that's something you want to do. You can grab the free Mario sticker pack here on iTunes.

Super Mario Run was announced during the iPhone 7 reveal event last week. An unspecified portion of the game will be available for free, while players can pay a "set purchase price" to access more content. Though pricing has not been confirmed, the game could become a big-time money-maker. One analyst thinks the free game will "easily" reach 1 billion downloads.

Super Mario Run is an auto-runner-style game where Mario moves forward on his own. Players then use a single finger to touch the screen to make him jump to avoid obstacles and enemies. Nintendo is focusing on the fact that you can play with one hand, which leaves your other one open to eat a hamburger or something.
