Suikoden was the first RPG Konami brought over from Japan for the US PlayStation. Its story captivated gamers and, finally, has spawned a sequel. At E3 in Atlanta, Konami announced that Suikoden 2 was in fact in development. Now, new details and artwork have been discovered in Konami's own magazine in Japan.

The title of Genso Suikoden 2 will officially be Akatsuki Teikokugawa, which, translated to English, means "Red Moon: The Emperor's Country's Side." This is a fitting title because you get to play on the side of the bad guys from the first game. The artwork that you see here was printed in the latest issue of Konami Magazine, and has an unmistakably Suikoden look to it.
