Strike Suit Zero follow-up Strike Suit Infinity has been announced by developer Born Ready Games.

The standalone title will use the original's mech combat gameplay but revolve around chasing high scores, battling waves of enemies, and ranking well on the game's leaderboards.

Strike Suit Infinity will be distributed via Steam from April 30, priced $6.99/€5.99/£4.99.

The original Strike Suit Zero launched for PC in January after a successful round of funding on Kickstarter. The game had a target of $100,000 and notched up $174,804 in total.

GameSpot awarded Strike Suit Zero a 7.5 in its review of the game.

Born Ready Games says it will shortly release the Heroes of the Fleet mission pack for Strike Suit Zero.

I didn't much care for the first game.
Voice acting was horrific and you had to reserve a good chunk of time in your day because there is no save points... when a single mission is a 1-2 hours long and you gotta go live life, it's a shame to do it over and over again.

I cant pass a level in Zero because the game keeps crashing on me, wrote to them, they told me that everything is fine, i just have to reinstall it or try it on another coputer, I tried, the game still crash everywhere on every computer. Apparently I,m not the only one. Why not fix the gaeme first?

The fist game was founded via Kickstarter, and I guess they used most of the money to make THAT game. This game will be made with ... the money got from the sales of the first?

Exactly! Can we please get a release date for the PS3 port of the original game first?!

@CryioI think they developed this, and also the DLC for the main game coming next month, with the leftover kickstarter funds, I doubt every penny went for SSZ, and also from sales of the game.
