Street Fighter Zero 3 Lands on Dreamcast

Capcom's first Dreamcast Street Fighter lands on Sega's new system, what can gamers expect?

Comments

Capcom has shipped the Dreamcast version of Street Fighter Zero 3 in Japan. Fans of the PlayStation version will be pleased with the enhanced world tour mode, which now has multiple paths. The Ism-Plus system has also been changed. Now, when you earn one of the Ism-Plus add-ons, you choose whether you actually want to keep it. Once you keep one of add-ons, it's always turned on with a maximum of six add-ons.

Several modes that were locked in the PlayStation version are available right off the bat, including dramatic-battle mode, where you can fight two-on-one battles. Also, Guile is available right off the bat - no need to unlock him or any other characters here.

So that leaves us with new questions. If all the hidden stuff is already available, what new secrets has Capcom put in the game? Well, the mode-select screen is already pretty full, but we'll keep digging and let you know if we come across anything out of the ordinary. Look for a full import review of SFZ3 on videogames.com in the coming weeks.
