The OzHadou Nationals (OHN14) will take place in Sydney on August 26-28, and CouchWarriors will be hosting Battle Arena Melbourne (BAM8) on May 13-15. Competitors who register at the event play for a chance to qualify for the Capcom Cup Finals, which take place in November this year. Those interested in attending can sign up on the respective OzHadou and CouchWarriors websites.

The Capcom Pro Tour is a competitive fighting game event which invites fighting game players from all over the world to compete against one another for titles and a cash prize. Last year's Capcom Pro Tour culminated with the Capcom Cup, which took place in San Francisco in December. Winner Ryota "Kazunoko" Inoue collected $120,000 for placing first, with second place Daigo "The Beast" Umehara awarded $60,000.

Street Fighter 5 releases on February 16 for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will include Survival and Challenge modes, the latter of which contains tips for new players. It was recently confirmed that Street Fighter III's Alex will be the first DLC character added to the game. Capcom also confirmed that PS3 controllers and sticks will be compatible with the game.
