Strategy First and French developer Monte Cristo today announced that they have signed a multiple-title copublishing deal. The deal means that Strategy First will have exclusive North American publishing rights for six of Monte Cristo's most popular PC titles.

"We look forward to building a long-term relationship with Monte Cristo and feel that our collaboration will prove to be successful for both companies involved," commented Steve Wall, vice president of business development at Strategy First. "Monte Cristo has a great lineup of titles that will allow Strategy First to expand its product line into the mainstream market."

The six Monte Cristo games covered by the new deal with Strategy First are the management game Airline Tycoon Evolution; the strategy games Dino Island , Dino Island , Dino Island , and Fire Department; and the life-simulation game Dino Island . All of these games--with the possible exception of Fire Department--are scheduled for release before the end of 2002.
