Starfleet Command III goes gold

Activision has announced that Starfleet Command III is complete and will ship soon. The game is the first in Taldren's Starfleet Command series to use the more powerful ships from The Next Generation series, rather than the Kirk-era, original-series ships. Starfleet Command III also incorporates a number of interface refinements designed to make the depth of the game's tactical starship combat easier for new players to grasp and to streamline the action for veterans of the series.
