The next chapter in Star Wars: The Old Republic's ongoing Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion series will debut on April 7, Electronic Arts and BioWare announced today. The chapter is called Visions in the Dark. It takes players to the planet Odessen where they will face off against Emperor Valkorion, who is immortal and has a ghost-like appearance. Check out the new teaser video below.

"As part of the confrontation, you will uncover dangerous secrets about your destiny that bind you to your dark enemy," BioWare said in a news release.

The developer also teased that there is a "great reward" waiting for players who complete the chapter. This takes the form of a "powerful new weapon inspired by some of the greatest Force users in the galaxy."

Visions in the Dark is Knights of the Fallen Empire's 12th chapter, while at least four further installments are coming in the future.

The Old Republic is free, but the Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion requires a paid subscription. Everyone who subscribes by April 1 will also receive a weapon set that comes with the HK-55 sniper rifle, a blaster pistol, and a Vibrosword.

More details can be found here on the game's website.
