Star Wars Battlefront: Get 5,000 Credits and Try All Heroes Free This Weekend

Presumably to celebrate the ongoing Star Wars Celebration event in Europe, DICE is giving you 5,000 free credits for Star Wars Battlefront just for logging in.

That's not all. Every Hero character is available to try this weekend, regardless of whether or not you've bought the DLC associated with them.

Someone mentioned this on Twitter today, and GameSpot logged in to the game and received 5,000 free credits and the notification about the Hero availability.

Tomorrow at Star Wars Celebration there is a video game panel that promises some news. It begins at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET; check back with GameSpot tomorrow to get all the news.

In other news about Star Wars Battlefront, DICE recently confirmed an offline mode is coming next week, while the Death Star expansion will arrive in September.
