Square's Chrono Takes Two

Square announced today the release dates for the highly anticipated RPG, Chrono Cross and the remake version of Chrono Trigger for the Sony PlayStation. The game features cel animation sequences in key scenes during the game, including the opening and the ending.

Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are both scheduled for a November release in Japan. Chrono Trigger will be priced at 4800 yen (US$43.00), and Chrono Cross at 6800 yen (US$62.00).

In other news, Square also announced a derby racing game called Chocobo Stallion. The game will be similar to Ascii's Derby Stallion, except instead of racing with horses, players will race with chocobos.
