Square ships Final Fantasy X to US retailers
The next Final Fantasy should be in stores tomorrow.
Square Electronic Arts has announced that the first installment of the Final Fantasy franchise for the PlayStation 2 has been shipped to retailers. Featuring the first English voice-overs in the series' history, Final Fantasy X follows the story of Tidus, who aids a young woman named Yuna in developing her talents as a summoner. In addition to the lengthy single-player quest, Final Fantasy X includes minigames such as playing blitzball and mastering the Al Bhed language. The battle system has been revamped so that you may now swap party members during battle.
Final Fantasy X retails for $50 and will launch with a nationwide advertising campaign.
