Square plans All-Star Pro Wrestling sequel this winter
SquareSoft will revamp its Japanese wrestling game for the sequel.
Square plans to release All-Star Pro Wrestling II for the Sony PlayStation 2, according to this week's issue of Famitsu. Three of the Japanese wrestling federations--New Japan Pro Wrestling, Noah, and Zero-One--will be featured in the sequel. The original game used both analog sticks for controls, but the sequel will be more orthodox, using a combination of the left analog stick and the controller buttons. Currently 70 percent complete, All-Star Pro Wrestling II for the PlayStation 2 is expected to be released this winter in Japan. A North American release has not been announced.
