On its official Web site, Square Enix said it plans to unveil a new game at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. No official word yet on what it might be.

Previously, Square Enix confirmed that seven games would be on display at the event.

Those games are: Drakengard and Final Fantasy XI for the PS2, Front Mission 1 for the PlayStation, Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu for the Game Boy Advance, and the massively multiplayer online role-playing games CrossGate and Bakusou! Yankee Damashii for the PC.

Shinken Dragon Quest, a toy game based on the Dragon Quest series that can be played by plugging it into the TV, will be on display as well.

Square Enix also plans to open a section dedicated to mobile phone games in its booth. True Square Enix enthusiasts may want to check on the layout image for the company's booth--available at its site.

The Tokyo Game Show will take place September 26-28, from 10am to 5pm each day at Tokyo's Makuhari Messe convention center. The show will be open to the public on the 27th and 28th, but it is open only to the press on the 26th.
