Square Developing Music Title

Square, traditionally known for its RPG titles, has in recent years spread its development into other genres, such as racing, for its recent Japanese release, Racing Lagoon. Recent conversations with members of Square have revealed that the company plans to spread to yet another genre - music.

When asked when a Square title similar to Konami's Beatmania or Dance Dance Revolution would happen, a company spokesperson claimed, "Next year." This was the most that could be learned of the title - no name, game details, or plans were divulged.
