Square announces new baseball title for the PS2
Want to pit the stars of Major League Baseball against the pros in the Japanese baseball league? Square has just the solution.
On Wednesday, Square announced its plans to release Nichibeikan Pro Baseball: Final League for the Sony PlayStation 2. The game will feature professional baseball players from both Japanese and American leagues. Other than dream matches between the two leagues, the game also features an all-star mode, a tournament mode, and a league mode. Nichibeikan Pro Baseball: Final League for PlayStation 2 is scheduled for a March 2002 release in Japan. No word yet on a North American release.
