Spring TGS 2001: THQ plans new WWF games for GameCube, GBA

Nintendo's next-generation console and 32-bit handheld will receive two new WWF games from THQ.

TOKYO - GameSpot has learned that THQ is currently developing two new WWF games for Nintendo platforms. The company will release a new game in its WWF Wrestlemania series for the Nintendo GameCube and WWF Road to Wrestlemania for the Game Boy Advance. The two games will likely have link-up options in order to provide added gameplay features. Specific release information is not known at this time. Asmik Ace developed the original WWF Wrestlemania for the Nintendo 64. It is not know at this time whether it is also developing the GameCube version.

THQ has already announced WWF SmackDown! 3 for the Sony PlayStaiton 2 and WWF Raw is War for the Microsoft Xbox. GameSpot will have more details on THQ's WWF games for the GameCube and the Game Boy Advance as further information is available.
