Splinter Cell update

Ubi Soft has released the official trailer for Splinter Cell, it's stealth-oriented action game currently in development at its Montreal studios. In the game, players will assume the role of Sam Fisher, a member of the National Security Agency's Third Echelon division--an organization so secret that the NSA would disavow it as a splinter cell operation if any of its operatives were detected. Sam will have to infiltrate a number of different areas by using his wide array of stealth abilities, as well as many of his gadgets, which range from sticky and fiber-optic cameras to modular automatic weapons and thermal goggles.

Splinter Cell is scheduled for release on the Xbox later this year.
