Activision has today announced that Spider-Man: The Movie has been selected for inclusion in Sony Computer Entertainment America's Greatest Hits, Microsoft's Platinum Hits, and Nintendo of America's Player's Choice programs. As a recent addition to each brand--and one of the first games to recognized by all three of the programs simultaneously--Spider-Man: The Movie will be relaunched at a suggested retail price of just $19.99.

In order to qualify for the respective programs, games must have sold more then 400,000 copies on the PlayStation 2 and 450,000 copies on the GameCube and have sold well at retail and been available for at least nine months on Xbox.
