Special Edition Halo soundtrack ships

Sumthing Else Music Works has today announced the release of a Special Edition of its Halo: Combat Evolved soundtrack. The soundtrack, composed by Marty O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori, comes with a bonus DVD containing previously unreleased surround sound versions of new music from the Halo universe, as well as a number of Halo 2 trailers and videos.

"It's a pleasure to bring new music to the fans of Halo," said O'Donnell. "Until now, these surround sound versions could only be experienced in my studio. Consider it a taste of things to come."
