Space World 2001: New Super Smash Bros. Melee media
See more of Super Smash Bros. Melee in action.
Super Smash Bros. Melee is a bit of the old and some of the new. Although there are a handful of new moves for each of the returning characters, the gameplay in Super Smash Bros. Melee is quite similar to that of the Nintendo 64 original. However, there are a variety of new characters in the game, and they add their own distinct gameplay flavors. Nintendo favorites such as Bowser, Princess Peach, and Sheik from Ocarina in Time are in the new game. Additionally, the levels are much more interactive now, when compared with the first game. Super Smash Bros. Melee is currently nearing completion and will be released for the North American GameCube in December.
